Interzone

Interzone is part of a series  of atmospheric landscape paintings inspired by memories and photographs.  In my work there is a theme of celebrating life. For this collection I printed photographs of my favorite places, exotic locations we have visited over the years, sunsets, early morning walks and sanctuary’s I visit regularly such as Hampstead Heath. I used thin layers of paint and employed Dutch pour techniques to reflect the haziness of memory and the fleeting nature of moments.  This Sunset painting is inspired my memories of our honeymoon in Gili Meno.
