I Can Change is part of a series of atmospheric landscape paintings inspired by memories and photographs.

In my work there is a theme of celebrating life. This collection is based on my own photographs of places I have visited over the years. This is one of my favorite views looking from the ladies ponds across to the Mens ponds on Hampstead Heath.

I wanted to honor these special moments in life by recreating the mood and feeling of these occasions. I used thin layers of paint and employed Dutch pour techniques to reflect the haziness of memory and the fleeting nature of moments.
